[RACEFILECHECKER] official WCS race/racefile checker

Today we put the race/racefilechecker online.

That little script can verify the correct syntax of your racefile and tells you whats wrong.

Its still in beta status, but the most important check works good - the QUOTES check.

So, if you post here a race or want to try one on your server, its recommended to check your racefile first!

Otherwise your server could crash or hide some races (after the syntax error).

Cool script. A nice idea to begginers in wcs. ( Is begginers right?? ). Great it shows the numbers so you know if they are in right order. I works great and i havent got a error yet . Great work.

wow it even detects if the ultimate_cooldown is missing
this thing is awesome... ive already had 3 people asking me to help them with their racefile
i gave them the link but their lazy i guess...i wanted to give it a try anyway.

but what's the difference between racechecker and ES checker?

good script but still takes time to sort out a race file wid 113 races in ^^ , coz i put in my race file and it sed stuff like line 688

take ages to find that line lol

Blackhawk, you shouldn't use Windows Notepad, its a pretty simple editor with only few features.

Download PSpad or Context (search google), they are for free and really better!

the stats show only the longest line in the _submitted_ file.
And the total checks works correctly

this works awesome it would be nice if it checked that the caommands were valid though,i checked a file that had 154 races and 0 errors. but the file would not load,like there was a line that was too long
but longest line was way under 1024 or whatever the max is.0 errors and 0 warnings...
i tried to load the first 100, wouldent load.then i tried the first 50 and it loaded so i narrowed it down to race number 84. outside of quotations,after the skill_cfg it said  lol.and that stoped the whole server from loading...lol
it really wasent funny..lol
maybe you can add a lol checker?...j/k

Filechecker is buggin out.  It keeps resetting to default races for some reason. :/


Correction: It still works if you check races individually, but it won't check your whole race file at the moment.  Did before, won't now.  Not sure why...
