If there's a skills that's not c/p, it's not a c/p race.
Like if you create a freezing skill by yourself, it's not a c/p.
If you copy one part of the skill or all the skill skill is c/p.

Beret, keep yourself focusing on 1 project. Be sure to memorize that down since it sounds good.

Yeah cool.
If a skill (already existing) is created by someone, the skill isnt c/p.

I disagree you cause if you made your own skill and worked for it then its not c/p paste race.

Well if i understand you right then you mean that if a skill allready is maked? then we can't choose it because it would be C/P? then you can't make any more races in the end ^^ :) that would be kinda lame :)

What would be really cool is a list of all the working copy/past skills in one place so that people would know if what they are working on has already been done.  That way they don't have to waste their time!  They can just copy/paste.  I think that if a race submission has anything original it should be considered not copy/paste.  However, they should fully acknowledge what specifically is copy/paste.  That's the way the professionals do it. :P

well i think that if you really just c/p a skill without any kind of modification its a c/p skill
i m often using parts of other races like an es_tell somthingwhatiwannasay command that is already written and modify it to use it in my own race it saves a lot of time if you are not such an advanced coder that you know all or most important commands.
And you can be sure that the syntax is fine :)

well so to sum up what i wrote:
a c/p skill is as long c/p as you dont do modifications and i dont think of changing the values ;)

how can someone be a creator of somthing already existing?

they must be the original creator
