This race was originally created by Holliday.
It is one of the most loved knife races of all time, I have made some tweaks to it so that it will be compatible on CS:GO as well as CS:S. It is very close to the original, but the ultimate invisibility is not 100% unlike the original release.
The reason for this is that this race was adapted to my server and we caught people using the rapscallion race for gamebreaking rather than actually playing it, they would turn invisible and go AFK in corners instead of jumping onto spectate.(NOTE: Our round time was 8 minutes, you can imagine why we changed this).

The hate/love relation to this race is very real :D
Anyways why you all code so late? Or early? Don't you guys sleep at all?
Sleep? What's that? Just put a wire up your arse and charge while you code during the night. Doesn't all do that, or is it just me??

Haha, that is so true Muerte, I do not think anyone who have played a decent sum of WCS and encountered this race have not at one point either A), freaking loved, or B), been freaking disgusted by it.

It is such a great race though, hence I wanted it to be released and fully functional for the new WCS, because it didn't work on most servers I've visited over the years due to the default one in the 100 races racepack by Jhonam was not working correctly :/

Lol just tonight me and some buddies were laughing at one of my friends hunting for me at a bomb site where I was frozen invisible and him running around in circles unable to find me ^^ ;D

I recommend re-downloading all the races submitted by me, except for the ones for the CS:S only races.
 
Because they have all received the same update, making them compatible with both CS:S and CS:GO. With this update sounds for both CS:S and CS:GO have also been added, so races that was missing sounds for CS:GO before have now been fixed.

This race have received an update, I recommend all users to re-download the race.
Unless bugs are reported then this should be the final update for this race.

And after all that is what the WC:S modification is all about, creating a lot of fun and memorable moments :-)

Also have you had the opportunity to have a look at the race itself?
I know there are a few changes from the original, but what is your own opinion on the rework, since it does stray a little bit from the original with a few value changes in general and effect changes to the ultimate.

As for the ultimate effect, I don't see a change

Only difference I see is the duration of the effect,
Witch is how I made the ultimate levelable
At level one the effect would go on after invisibility giving away the players location and at max level the effect would be gone quick.

Not sure what I'm missing,
It's hard to look at code on a phone tho,

Oh you are completely right!

I thought I did not change it back to the original before the release, but I must have, but yes there are the time and duration variables in difference. Well, then at least it should be even closer to the original, previously it had an ultimate effect more like vagabond's strider beams, in order for it not to be seen through the walls. :-)
And I also adjusted the cooldown like you said, making it more "forgiving" to use the ultimate at higher levels :-)

Well then at the end of the day it is quite close to the original it seems, with just some minor adjustments in the blocks :-)
But I am glad you are satisfied with the race, if there's ever one of your races that I rework which you feel unsatisfied with then please let me know :-)

And it surely isn't easy on a phone, I was on a phone earlier today trying to browse the codes on github seemed hard enough :p

Once I move this race to a github I will make the changes to it. I plan on doing this upon finishing wrapping up my own server's racelist. Once that is done I will be distributing a portion of reworked races that should work very well with the newest version of WCS. :-)

Thank you very much for pointing this out so that I can adjust it later down the line so it will work flawlessly. For now I will move the race in to the dissapproved section. Please let me know any other findings you might find in races published in my name, I really appreciate the feedback :-)
