Coding it in C++ would take at least a year. We haven't time I think.

Actually I found it as best Bux ever. Everything's automated!

I really find no sense in recoding it into C++... Before you finish it we finish Python version so everyone will start making custom races when you will be messing up with bugs as long time ago Geesu (1.6 WC3FT creator) stated...

It is really not better to code it in C++ as plugin (as EventScripts plugin is)...

Making custom races in SourceMod will take years... Sorry but if you want custom race support, I suggest Python more...

You waste your time.

Even if you finish before me python in half a year or etc. my mod will be better.

And holliday is right. Mine mod will be in closed source. C++ coding is allways closed source and i have no desigre to public it.
As 1 man I'll code it by myslef soo when i finish it you will be only able to use not. No modifications and nothing custom.
A man that doesnt changes hes mod is not a man.

and this is why many people at this site wont want to learn c++ to make a race that they can make fast and ezer with est or es or mani or what ever they use in fact if you do make it youll be geting so many pms at your pugin site for it on how to make a race with it. so go head and make it alrdy and get it over with maybe you should stop trying to make everone think this mod is unstable and get to work on yours

OK ppl  :x To be honest you guys are flaming on each other indirectly. This post was about Kryptonite, ES 2.0 and WCS not about C++ Or about any other mod.  So please keep it down on your keyboard.

Oh, shut up! You dont know a shit about coding
When I learn c++, Im willing to atleast try to make a race system, and later shopmenu.
I do not know anything about c++ yet, but I'm going to try to make it easy to costumize!

You can't make C++ plugin easy to customize.

c6464  ur talkin like c++ is so easy to learn .. it takes VERY long time to learn
Rofl, dude your sooo noobish. Rofl Im learning visual basic, THEN im going to learn c++
And you never heard of something called "Sams teach yourself c++ in 21 days".pdf
Rofl

And frodo, Ill see what i can do. When i know c++ and we (me and some buddys here) recode (or parts of it) Ill see what i can develop to make races, etc

You don't need EST :)

I proved this...

And also: C++ is too hard. This question is senseless. I know because I worked in this a bit and I made an ESP cheat for myself for CS1.6 and it worked... But I used tutorial

I can say syntaxes are even more... Less graphical.

For all of you who doesnt knows, Python doesnt have script check like C++. If you have visual Studio and you code in C++, it can tell you if you use wrong syntex, and even guide you how to fix it.

Adiitionaly C++ can generate all comands possible (you can make your own and install them into server) although Python is restricted by the fact its macro language.

Conclusion: C++ is better, and I prefer to waste 1 month on learning it and making an excellent plugin, rather then fast learn Python and create stupid plugin.

Omfg...

Dunno where i told it BUT i told that it WILL BE NOT customizable since if you want to learn python from scratch (meaning you didn't learn any other language) just to code races, you CAN, if you want to code shop items, YOU CAN, but if you code in C++ then it is too hard structure to learn. Think about it because it looks like you aren't so good for community. For example i LOVE customizing my server and making it unique from others...

Btw you use Visual C++ 6.0 too? I use Enterprise version and it is really awesome...

I have actually all versions. :)

And about what you say of customizing here is my answer,

The source will be closed only for ceratin parts (like core, functions and etc.) although 2 places will be open, the shop section and race section. You'll be able only to modify those sections nothing else.
